Karel Bush & Bohemia Dance Company

Karel Bush starts where others leave off. Karel Bush and Company is not a group formed by chance but rather by systematic development over thousands of performances and numerous TV shows both throughout Europe and overseas. Karel Bush and Company is not a show rigidly presenting the same performance over and over but rather the opposite.

The program changes from venue to venue to meet the clients requirements and stage capacity. This means that each show is a tailor made performance, accurately planed and prepared for each occasion. The show consists of different elements such as dance, artistic acts and superb illusions, all presented at a breakneck pace and without pauses.

For these reasons the show maintains a rapid and breath-taking tempo. Several humorously presented illusions or some funny artistic performances put a smile on the faces in the audience, generate a relaxed mood and positive atmosphere, contrasting with the utmost tension felt during other parts of the performance. The Show includes 9 performers and 6 stage hands. Choreography has been designed by leading European choreographers and the costumes are by top costume designers.Transport is organized in two or three truck and two cars. The stage set up and rehearsals take between 4 and 10 hours, depending on the show's size. This includes both technical and dress rehearsals. The program can last between 20 and 60 minutes, as required by the client. As each show also requires light and music effects, Karel Bush and Company works with a company that provides all the lighting and sound effects. Our excellent working relationship with this company is a guarantee for a technically sound and visually well prepared show.

Karel Bush Show also includes a professional dance group. All dancers (7 female) have had classical dance training and have made guest performances in a number of European theatres. This group can be ordered together with the Karel Bush show or for separate performances. Their program includes a selection of 12 different dances. The total performance is approximately 2x 20 minutes long.
